Interior Space and Exhibition Design The Marrow of Tradition Dessert Shop by Su- Hsiang Hung The Marrow of Tradition is a dessert shop interior in Taichung, Taiwan, covering 465 square meters. The design forms a calm place away from the busy city. A fence of wooden pallets stands by the entrance, and the low height of the fence keeps the shop visible from the street. The counter uses an arc form to make the space look wider. Lively green is combined with pale wood as the main tone, while dark wood in the dining area adds visual depth. Wall tiles are laid in varied patterns and allow easy cleaning. A mural on the second floor shows the story of the owner.
