Happy Home Residence

Interior Space and Exhibition Design Happy Home Residence by Wu Hong Happy Home is a residential interior design for a three-storey house in Chongqing, China. The original building had a chaotic layout and no daylight on the lower ground floor. The interior was rebuilt through changes to the basement and a new cast-in-place floor slab on the second floor. The kitchen, dining room and fitness area were placed on the lower ground floor. Patios bring daylight and air to that level. A sunshine teahouse in the courtyard and a new terrace link the rooms with the outdoor scenery. The finished home covers 288 square meters and serves three generations.
