Architecture, Building and Structure Design N12 House Residential by Masahiko Sato N12 House is a two-storey weekend residence located in Asakura City, Japan. The house includes a built-in garage that presents the owner's car collection as an integral part of the design. Most of the volume is placed on the second floor, where a living room, a kitchen and a dining area form one open space. Large windows and a terrace balcony open the interior towards three directions and the surrounding views. Red cedar boards run from the interior ceiling to the sloping eaves of the terrace. Indirect lighting creates a warm and gentle atmosphere.
