Undulating Flow Residence

Rae Tsai, Jimmy Ko

Interior Space and Exhibition Design Undulating Flow Residence by Rae Tsai, Jimmy Ko Undulating Flow is a residential interior design for a 165 square metre apartment in Taichung City, Taiwan. The layout includes a master bedroom with an en suite, a Japanese style tatami room, a living room, a study, a kitchen and three balconies. An undulating wooden beam ceiling recalls the distant mountains and is echoed by a wavy grey and black carpet. Red lacquer walls with black lacquer sliding doors enclose a changing room. The apartment was arranged to display art and objects collected by the owners during their travels.
