Ningbo Hanvos School education building

Architecture, Building and Structure Design Ningbo Hanvos School education building by DC Alliance Ningbo Hanvos School is an education building designed for an international teaching model on a limited site. The main challenge was the conflict between the small plot and the need for a large playground. The design asks for space from the sky: the core public spaces are placed on top of the building terraces, while the basic classrooms are set below. The folded courtyard concept divides the site into courtyards for teaching, activities, administration and recreation. Vertical terraces connect the levels and turn circulation into shared activity.
