Architecture, Building and Structure Design Urban Construction Archives by DC Alliance Ningbo Urban Construction Archives is an archive building located in Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, China. The design interprets the history of the city as a history of construction. Buildings are understood as assemblies of blocks, so the archive is composed of stacked blocks that combine the properties of space and material. The blocks are grouped into three types: transparent, solid and special. The site area is 6567 square meters, with 17190 square meters of floor area on eleven levels above ground and 6405 square meters on two levels below ground.
