Architecture, Building and Structure Design Uncompromised Beauty Architecture Design by Hong Gi Construction Uncompromised Beauty is a residential complex located in an alley in the old town of Taoyuan, Taiwan. The complex is composed of five five-story houses, each set back eight meters to open the view along the narrow lane. A concave and convex white exterior creates a changing play of light and shadow. Skylights cover about one third of each house and bring daylight to every floor. Apart from the master bedroom, each room has its own balcony and bathroom. Full accessibility connects the sidewalk with the shared public areas.
